Google photos do not back up unless i open the app

Hi i have an iphone 8 plus and my google photos do not back up in the background at all. I need to open the app itself and only then it start to backup the photos. I have the refresh backgroud app on, i gave a read and write permission to google photos, i have restarted the phone and at the end i have deleted the app and install it again...but nothing have helped
It was working fine untill 2 weeks ago
Some one can help please i am so lost

No nothing it just stoped back the photos in the background...i even reinstalled the app again and nothing
