Google has released its native Calendar app for iPhone users with Material Design around three months ago. Since then, the app has received minor updates, but now it has reached version 1.1.0, and this seems to be the biggest revamp since its release. Here are all the new features that are available in the updated app:
  • See more events at a glance with 7-day week view
  • Add Google Drive files to events. Drive will even check if everyone can open them
  • Directly open a map or email guests with interactive notifications
  • Add week numbers in settings
If you have been using the app on your iPhone, and you also have a Google Drive account, you will now be glad to hear that you can now easily attach files from your Drive when creating a calendar appointment. The 7-day view also gives you an overview of your entire week, which is quite useful as you are able to arrange your schedule much easier.
