Everything you need is in your settings app, I would suggest looking through the booklet that you get in the iPhone box, as it's quite good for beginners, showing you hints and tips for using the iOS software, also when you update it, read the change log as it will explain the updates for you, again showing and allowing you to get the most from you new phone.

Hi oci... and welcome. The iPhone has a Bookmark page for Safari, and one of the bookmarks is the iPhone users manual. An excellent source of info.
