Forgot Passcode for Software Update

Hi,

I have forgotten my passcode for the software update and it keeps asking me to try again in 1, 5, 15, and 60 minutes.

Is there a way to reset or a forgot passcode solution?

I'm afraid that the only solution is to erase the iPad, there's no way to bypass the passcode. If any backups you made were made after you set up the passcode, you'll have to set it up as a new iPad and re-download all your content manually.

This is why it is good idea to keep a notebook with your various passwords written down. Just saying.
