My facetime hasn't been working for a few days... The facetime 'button' under settings, phone... is switched to off and when I try to switch it back to on it just says "waiting for activation" and after a few minutes it just switches back to off... Can anyone help with this? A few people tell me that I will have to do a restore to get it working again but if I do a restore, won't I have to restore to the latest 4.2.1 firmware through itunes? is there a way around that?

If you haven't saved your 4.1 SHSH's yet then you can't restore to 4.1. Apple stopped signing that firmware.
Have you tried resetting your network settings? You will loose all wifi passwords when you do...

I had installed a few apps from Cydia right before it started (My 3g and Facebreak) and I remembered so I went in and uninstalled them and rebooted and it started working again. Hopefully that is all it was...Thank you.
