double-sided DVD

my mac mini osx snow leopard cant read double sided dvd

i purchased the 2º season of a us tv series and i thought it would run fine like the 1º season without a glitch

but these latest dvd format come in double-sided and the mac mini computer spins and spins but cant get the info or load menu, less alone the 12 episodes in it.

since it cant read, i cannot even burn its content into single dvd trough my mac so all i can do is take it to the office and there burn it into dvd trough windows xp

heres the data sheet pic above... i bought it in late 2009 and it reads cd / dvd great and records / burns even better... but its the first time i slide in a double side dvd and no vid pops up in apple front row... it stars ok with <<loading dvd>> then a black screen saying <<reading error - play/pause to return to menu>>.
