Recently I bought and iphone 5s and put an ee sim in it, I can call and use data but it won t send any texts, I think it my be an issue with imessage as in setting under message it says imessage waiting to be activated, but I have tried activate it and it won t complete. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

Try resetting your network settings......Settings--- General---Reset---Reset Network Settings.

A few other things you can try to activate iMessages:
Make sure your number is listed on top of the Contacts app (My Number).
If it isn't, go to Settings - Phone - My Number, and enter it there.
Also look at time and date. Also take a look ath your time zone. If there's something wrong, iMessage will not activate.
Contact your carrier. Make sure he supports iMessage.
Go to Settings - Messages - Send & Receive. Tap your Apple ID and sign out. Then sign in again.
