Do I need a new battery?

My iPhone 5 died Friday night and Saturday morning the charge your iPhone icon didn't show up and Sunday afternoon I got a charger and my phone has been on there since but it still hasn't turned on so do I need a new battery?

Possibly or a new charger or cable. If you can get to an Apple Store they can test it easily.
