Hi All,
I am still green and getting used to my new iPhone 4. It is at ios 6.1 and is not jailbroken.
Is there a quicker way to delete the list of phone calls and messages besides swiping each one individually and tapping delete? It is a minor annoyance, but I would think that there should be an easier way, perhaps to delete a page at a time or delete all.
Thanks for any responses.
Mike

If you mean the specific parts of the conversation, then go into the conversation, tap the top right Edit button, tick the pieces of the convo you want to delete, then delete it. If you mean the entire conversation, then AFAIK, there aren't any ways to delete it in bulk unless you root your phone and delete it.

Hi willerz2,
Thanks for the quick response.
Yes I mean the whole conversation; like when you go to phone and see the list of phone calls. You swipe the right side and then a delete button pops up. Press the delete button to delete that call on the list. If you have more than one call, then you have to swipe one, delete, and repeat for each call.
There is no way to "enhance" or speed up this process?
What about a JB phone?
Thanks again.
Mike

If you mean in the phone app - go to the Recents tab. There will be an Edit button. If you tap it, there should be a button that appears in the upper left that reads something like "Clear All." Tapping it will remove the history of all phone calls (at least, it does for my AT&T phone...).

Is that what you mean/need?

Hi Mickey330,
That is exactly what I wanted to do.
Thanks so much.
