Cydia wont work??

OK. If the file is getting locked every time, then it sounds like you have a permissions problem on the dpkg folder. Make sure you have read / write attributes wide open for all users. That will most likely sort it.

I have this same issue guys...

I deleted the empty lock file and recreated it in iFile, went into MobileTerminal and the file is still locked. I opened Cydia and it says to type dpkg --configure -a...

I did that in MobileTerminal and it says the area is in use by another process...

Now what?

I have the same problems here, just that for some reason the directory is /var/lip/dpkg/status. I cant load up anything on Cydia, no sources, categories or anything. PLEASE HELP!
