I'm not very good at posting on forums so I'll just ask my question. Is it possible to connect my jailbroken iPod Touch 4G to my school's wifi, install Tor or some other proxy and then create a hotspot to connect my chromebook to. I can't configure any proxies directly to my chromebook because the school restricted many features as to not bypass their website filters, such as any gaming sites, eBay, etc. I've seen that you can use an iPod/iPad as a range extender for WiFi but I don't know if any proxies I set would

Even if you succeed it won't help bypass the website restrictions put in place by the school as the WiFi signal still comes through the school's WiFi router, which has the restrictions.

In addition, we'll not be offering you any help in circumventing the restrictions your school has put on web access.

With that, this thread is now closed.
