Country Lock??

Hi,
I happened to come across an blog talking about a country lock on iphone4 and was wondering what that is. I'm familiar with carrier locks that prohibits people from moving from one carrier to another with a same phone which sucks.
Another question that I have is if you got it unlocked as in using ultrarain(?) does this also unlock the country lock? If not how can this be done?

Don't know what country lock is but you can unlock your phone using ultrasnow providing you have a compatible baseband.

Ultrasnow gives you the freedom to use any carrier in the world...

I had a hard time trying to find about country lock.
seems like iphone users don't really go out of main land that often to worry about country locks

Mine works in the U.S., Germany, France, Austria, Switzerland, and Italy. I'll find out about Norway next week. I don't think there is a "country lock" on phones. If Roaming is not switched on or not available by the carrier then a phone will not communicate out of the "main" country (except by WiFi).
