If you have the latest hd sky box connected to your router, download the sky app...
Really good as you have full control of your box from your iPhone, no more hunt the remote
Sadly it doesn't do the volume

yeah this is pretty sweet from sky, I currently have a 2TB sky+hd box and use this feature all the time, it has to also be connected to your router/hub but I mostly use the app rather then the actual remote lol and as you say its basically just to adjust the volume and saving me a tone of batteries even though i buy a truck load at a time from pound land
