Certain songs not syncing to my phone... Why?

For some reason any songs with ID3 Tag: v2.4 won't sync to my phone. It'll say "Updating files on iPhone cancelling update" in iTunes, and then the songs will show up in my phone in iTunes in gray like they're waiting to sync, but they never do. I tried changing the ID3 tag, but still nothing. Any idea why this is, or how to get around it? It's really annoying me. Thanks.
