Cannot search in app store and cannot use safari

Hello. I have a huge problem recently bought a iphone 4s and after updating i cant seem to be able to search for apps in the app store and i cant seem to use safari for example when i want to put in a web address the keyboard doesnt pop up but if i use my contacts or mail box it works fine can someone pleeese help me

Backup the device, and perform a restore of the device using iTunes to completely wipe the device, then restore your backup.
