Can i update my iphone

May be it was locked before

1. Just check what your modem firmware is and post it here?
Go to settings>general>about> modem firmware.. Post the number here then ul get help on wether to update..

2.Jail breaking does not lock you phone..

3. Once jailbroken, you cannot update straight away from the "update software" place. You need to do it via iTunes..

He was asking if your phone was unlocked. Like if it's on it's official carrier.

You at every hard to help.lol.

Is your phone unlocked?
Is it locked to a carrier?
Are you trying to unlock?
Do you not care about unlocking.

You gotta let us know. We don't want to give you advice that will make you lose your unlock.

Yeah, I know.

But he never said what he wanted to do, or if he was unlocked, not unlocked, trying to get unlocked, doesn't care about unlocking. Stuff like that.
