Maybe I am missing something, but in the iOS6 manual, I can't find how to call a contact added to "favorites". I do see a reference to "calling with a single tap" but cannot find any details about how to do it. Can anyone shed some light on this?

To add someone to your "Favorites" list... view their contact info page and tap "Add to Favorites" in the lower right portion of the screen. To call people stored in your "Favorites" list... go to your Phone app and select "Favorites." It's the option all the way to the left at the bottom of the screen.

Thanks for the response. I did already know how to put contacts into my "Favorites" list. The real question is that in the iOS6 manual, on the page showing the phone graphic (pg 43) there is a line pointing to the Favorites button and it says "Call a favorite in a single tap". What does single tap mean here? With my old flip phone I could hold down one button and it would call the number associated with that "favorite" button. For example, I could hold down the "3" button for a few seconds and it would automatically call my wife's cell phone. Can this method be done on the iPhone??
