Calendar Help Needed

Greetings:
My wife and I both have iPhone4S and several Gmail accounts. For awhile the calendar feature was working in that when my wife entered a new item, I got it and visa versa. For some reason that is not happening. Any help out there regarding the settings? Not sure what happened but is getting a little frustrating. Not sure what to do. Any help will be appreciated.

In that I didn't get any assistance with this, I continued to work with both phones and found the proper balance in achieving what I was looking for. Was hoping for a few shortcuts from the "experts" out there, but as always, learning on your own can be a great lesson.
