Brightness keeps dimming when gaming and when not gaming

I’ve bought a game and this crap phone just keeps dimming the brightness, when I’m playing the and also when I’m not playing it, just randomly keeps dimming, it’s like I’m playing my game in a dark overcast mode and it’s doing my head in, I’ve turned auto brightness off, I’ve done everything it says online and this phone still keeps doing it, can anyone help??? Cause I’m. Close to throwing this crap in the bin.

Try turning Tru tone off and check to see if you are playing during your Nightshift hours or DND hours.
