blocking unwanted calls

I have ported in our land line and seem to be getting all sort of unwanted calls since then and it is getting irritating....

So I have been searching on itunes and have found some apps for blocking calls but none of them have a very good rating and say they are a waste of time... so I was wondering if you guys had found an app you like the best for blocking unwanted calls.

Are your phone numbers registered on the DO NOT CALL list?
This applies to any phone numbers, cell or landline.

I've been registered with it for years and it seems to help. I just re-registered again (probably a good idea after years go by)

Other than that - depends on who/what you're trying to block.
