Hello I have sold a Iphone on a popular Online auction site I sold it as is as it was stuck in "connect to itunes" screen and could not remedy it . The buyer is now telling me he thinks it is blacklisted is that even possible? and would it cause the connect to itunes screen to be displayed? this is a GSM netowk iphone even if it was coulndt you hacktivate it?

A device is only blacklisted if the original owner reports it as missing, stolen or thereof. Hacktivating a device won't remove the blacklist since blacklisting a device is done on the carrier-end.
