Backing up iPhone's conversation list?

Hi everyone, I've never restored my iPhone since when I bought it, it came out on 5.1.1 and the first jailbreak after that will be IOS 6 of course which should be sunday or very soon but anyway, I was wondering if when I back it up, it will save all my messages. If it doesn't is there any way to be sure that I can back them up? Like copying something through ssh and then paste it once I jailbreak? Or something else like a tweak? Thanks a lot to anyone that will help me, I'll be really most grateful.

You can use the backup feature on iTunes, or you can manually back them up using iFunbox or iexplorer

Yes it will. As long as you restore your iPhone using that backup all your text conversations will be place back in order.

Make sure it's right click >Backup and not the "backing up" that you get when plugging your device into iTunes.
