applications are failed to open

Hi,
I have just upgraded my iPhone 4 to version 5.1.. and some of the applications are not opened.. For example, the Whatsup can receive messages, but I cannot open it to see the message or answer. the same happens in some of the applications. other are OK.
I would appreciate your help !. neta

No.. It is not jailbroken. Anyway, for some unknown reason, after updating some apps, it is ok now. 10x.
