One of the latest crazes in the mobile photography world is the infamous selfie stick. Folks walking around the streets with a monopod taking pictures of themselves and/or friends, when there's nobody else to snap the pic.

Well if you're planning on taking some selfies with to folks at WWDC 2015, you're going to have leave the selfie stick at home. According to Apple's WWDC 2015 webpage, selfie sticks and monopods are banned from the conference, as well as the entire Yerba Buena Gardens area.

While the company doesn't state much of a reason for the ban, it could be due to Apple's live-stream. The company usually has a live-stream of the keynote up on its site as the event is happening. Raising selfie sticks up in the air could be invasive to the shot, and as we know, Apple is all about perfection.
