WWDC 2015 is almost here! The conference kicks off June 8th and will run until the 12th, where Apple is expected to announced iOS 9 along with its rumored revamped music streaming service. However recent controversy has sparked that Apple may be pressuring other streaming services, like Spotify, and the iPhone maker is currently under investigation.

A new report from Billboard on Tuesday, claims that we might not see Apple announce its music streaming service at the Worldwide Developers Conference. The publication states the reason for this is because Apple does not have the necessary licensing agreements to launch the service.

"A June launch is still attainable. One source notes Apple has been able to quickly secure licensing deals in the past. "If any company can pull it off, they can," the source tells Billboard, adding that "labels are more likely to play ball with them" because of Apple's track record of generating revenue for rights holders.

Another major label source believes the Beats Music re-launch isn't coming soon. "June won't be the release date. The deals aren't done."

The revamped Beats Music was initially supposed to launch with subscriptions starting at $7.99. However recent reports have claimed that record labels wouldn't agree unless Apple would bump it up to $9.99.
