App Updates Stuck on "Paused"

I'm updating apps on my iphone 5 as one does from time to time. This time around, a bunch of apps seem stuck on 'Paused' and nothing changes. I've tried deleting and reloading, but there's no change. What might the problem be?

Try switching to auto updates in settings. After they update, switch back to manual.

Thanks for the tip. Actually resolved my problem by powering down my iPhone and then restarting it again. Seems to have fixed things! ;-)
