Hi, I am showing that one of my apps needs to be updated and it has been stuck on the Installing prompt icon. In other words, nothing is happening. Thoughts?

Try a hard reset and see what happens. To do a hard reset, simultaneously press and hold the home and power buttons until the Apple logo appears, then releas both buttons. When the iPhone turns back on, see if that helped.

If I get stuck installing, I usually delete the application and reinstall from the appstore. I don't lose any infomation or statistics from the app after installing.
