So like I said in my previous thread, I'm a newbie to both verizon and iPhone.
Anyway. The iPhone 5 is supposed to come out by September although I cannot wait that long as I need to have one before the end of the summer.
I was wondering if there's anyway to somehow switch or upgrade to the iPhone 5 and continue the same plan. Or do I need to buy a completely new plan?
The reason why I'm wondering is cause it kinda sucks that I need to buy a iphone 4 right before 5 comes out...

Thanks for the support.

Are you due for a upgrade? If not you can always sell your iPhone 4 on eBay when 5 comes out but you will have to pay full price for the phone. I recently upgraded to the iPhone 4 from blackberry. I love it but the battery life sucks for me anyway I'm always using it. they should still have the same plans. Goodluck!

You will have to pay FULL PRICE when you get the iP5, but you can keep the same plan. That is going to be an expensive option. If it were me, I'd buy a used phone with no contract for a few months, then get the IP5 when it comes out with the discount pricing.

I get great battery life out of my IP4, maybe not quite as long as my BB Storm 2, but I can go a few days on a charge.

There was nothing that was a game killer for me to wait for the iPhone 5 (or 4S as some call it). I was sick of the LG Versa I had and it was starting to go south, same with my wife's LG enV Touch. That was one of the deciding factors in my getting the 4. A better camera and dual core processor just wasn't enough for me to put off getting a great device. I need LTE and of course need to have LTE service in my area, both of which should come with the iPhone 6 in a couple of years, just in time for me to get a NEW phone!
