The iPhone sure brings a lot of unique features to the table, but so far, one of them has eluded the product – the dual SIM feature. There are Android phones out there that sport the capability, but so far, the Apple garden has seen none of it. Nevertheless, users seem to be wanting the feature added to their iDevices, but until recently there was no way of achieving it.

This is not the case anymore, as the wonderfully innovative website Kickstarter seems to bring an answer to the problem. The SIM+ iPhone 5 cover. Yes, so far it seems that the technology is limited to the iPhone 5 but this should not discourage users. If inventors can do it for the iPhone 5 they can do it for any type of iPhone. So, back to the SIM+. This is a cover that allows the placement of two different SIM cards inside the iPhone without users having to swap between them.

The design of the case is very fashionable and eye catching and is made up of three components: the plastic cap, the tray which holds the two SIM cards and the aluminum cover that protects the SIM tray.

However, using this case won’t allow users to use the two SIMS at the same type, but swap between the two using a few taps. One can put up a schedule and arrange the hour when one of the SIMs is supposed to take over. Overall, the whole process of switching SIMS is much more simplified and users won’t have to open your iPhone either. For the activation of your SIM go to: Settings>Phone>SIM Applications>Switch on Timed Interval.

If you like the idea, head on to the KickStarter website and donate $52 to help the SIM+ technology see the light of day.
