So I wanted to Jailbreak my iPhone 4 running 4.3.1 using redsn0w. Seeing as it's my first Jailbreak, I'm kind of concerned that something will go wrong, so I want to know if there is a way to back up everything (Including the iPhone's firmware.) I also want to be able to revert to a default firmware without losing all my apps/contacts/songs/ect so I can remove the jailbreak if I need to or have to go to the Apple Store for support. If someone could tell me how I could do this I would be greatly appreciative.

Thanks for your help!
(If this is in the wrong section, sorry!)

4.3.1 wait. What's the modem version? You see if you need unlock as well, only modem 01.59.00 can be unlocked. It shows all the info in settings, about device.

What you need to do is sync it with iTunes, then do jailbreak.

For jailbreak use sn0wbreeze version 2.5.1, latest firmware could be downloaded on programs first screen. Use expert mode, check all options except for hacktivation (didn't seem to work for me). Once you jb and sync it with iTunes again all your sh***t will be restored.

To go back to un-jb i, you just put it into DFU state and let iTunes restore.
