4S lag

My iPhone 4S only a year and it start to lag,any idea?

Is it jailbroken? What did you do before the lag became obvious or apparent? What iOS version are you on?

Another area to look at... how full is your iPhone's memory? Once you get down into only 100's or 10's of MB's of free space... you'll see noticible "lag" when it comes to every day operation of your iPhone.
