4.2.6 Verizon Unlock

Hello,

I have a recently bought Verizon iphone (version 4.26) and i JUST want to unlock it. Is this possible? through all my research all i can find is greenpoison which will only jailbreak it for me. Id rather not have to jailbreak it. I just want to be able to take an unlocked iphone overseas (China), and hook it up through china telecom (which my research tell me is a viable cdma network)

If possible, what should i do/use? this is urgent as im leaving in a couple days for a busy job and would rather have it resolved before then,

You cannot unlock a CDMA iPhone as it's tied to a account on Verizon's service

you can only unlock a gsm iphone

What are my options here? Should I switch to at&t?

What about services like iPhone Unlock and iPhone Jailbreak which say they can unlock my phone? Are these as bogus/ sketchy that u suspect them to be?
