So if you have a 4.0.2 you really don't have to upgrade to 4.1 in order to get it unlocked right?

there is no jailbreak for 4.0.2 unless im out of date, but as far as i know you need 4.1 to jailbreak. with that being said you need jailbreak in order for an unlock

No. You can jailbreak 4.0.2. I did it yesterday. Then I updated to 4.1 and had a few problems. But today i've unlocked a iphone 4 with 4.02 that i brought in L.A and now have a iphone 4 with 4.1 in London, England.

The way I understood is that they have a jailbreak for 4.1 and unlock for 4.0.2 )

so if one has a 4.0.2 he would have to upgrade to 4.1 in order for it to be jailbroken and unlocked

this is really confusing . how come no one is talking about unlocking the iphone 4 version 4.0.2 baseband 1.59.

every where you go they claim that it can be unlocked .

i fallowed what you suggest in that site . but some they say it did not work for them .

i read in other site using :Sn0wbreeze 1.7. anyone one there have any idea please .
