Hi

I have a 3G which was jailbroken. I wanted to get rid of the jailbreak (for reasons only known to myself), so I went to another forum (Doh), and it stated to simply plug into itunes etc.
I get the 1015 error which I believe is because the baseband version is to high and Apple cant downgrade it ?
Anyway, I have tried using TinyUmbrella to fix the 1015 error (Fix Recovery in DFU), but this doesnt appear to work (Nothing seems to happen after I have clicked on fix recovery)

I have read so many different methods all over the net on how to resolve, but having stumbled on this forum, this seems to be the best place to get good concrete advice.
Thanks in advance !

Cheers

That is the case with 1015. You can either downgrade or preserve the baseband as you restore back to a clean iOS on your 3G. You can use RedSn0w or iFaith as the more popular choices to do so. IFaith will stitch and require that you do it manually. RedSn0w will stitch and restore in a few clicks
