I understand the concept of backing up and restoring. I'm trying to figure out if I restore the backup, will I lose jailbreak?

Sorry about last part. I backup via iTunes, complete Semirestore process, and the backup is there in the event things go awry and unfortunately will lose JB? I'm just confused as step 8 from semirestore says u can restore from backup after process and I'm assuming keeping jailbreak.

I've got Mxtube. Also, is Semirestore a reliable fix from your experience with the issue I'm having? I found your thread about semirestore and will follow it for a windows machine. Lastly, it's ok to restore from backup without losing Jailbreak? I was under impression I will lose JB. Thx

I deleted all text messages. Still huge amount in other. If I restore then I completely lose jailbreak, correct?

Not sure if this is do to Jailbreak. I'm getting low storage message due to Other Data recently increasing to a whopping 12g. Any ideas on a fix before restoring to 7.1 from 7.0.6. Don't want to lose JB though. Thx

Just updated to IOS 7.0.6 and re-jailbroke with Evasion 1.0.6. Is it necessary to re-jailbreak with 1.0.7?

Battery replacement was easier than I thought. Thanks again. I noticed the battery was 1380mah. I was under impression it was supposed to be 1440 from ifixit. Any ideas? Does it matter?

I looked and can't get a solid answer on if I need adhesive for the new battery install for IPhone 5. Does kit from ifixit come with strips? Also, am I still good if I just decide to restore phone and take to apple today for replacement in the event I don't want to change myself? I don't want...
