Google has been bulking up its YouTube algorithm for years to find recommended videos for people to watch. While usually something of interest will be suggested to you, based on other videos you've viewed, there's nothing like human interaction to help an algorithm find its path.

On Wednesday, Google issued an update to its iOS YouTube application, adding a "Not Interested" option under its Up Next section. Update version 11.32 allows users to filter unwanted recommendations by tapping the option, training the algorithm to provide better suggestions.

The new update also lists numerous bug fixes and improvements behind the scenes, fixing a bug in the Subscriptions feed, which greyed out thumbnails. To add to that YouTube 11.32 no longer paused videos with clicking on external links in video descriptions.

YouTube for iOS can be downloaded in the iTunes App Store for free.
