yahoo messenger app not working

i got the iphone around 2 months ago and the app works fine. now I can't log in anymore. it always says "sign-in problem. the request timed out.. please try again". same goes for my sister's iphone 4. the other internet apps work fine, like facebook or twitter.

already tried reinstalling it from the appstore, and resetting. still nothing happned. please help.

Maybe it has something to do with your internet connection. Have you tried refreshing or diagnosing it to see if it's working?

sign in using when you are on wifi

i did. tried using my phone with other wifi venues and still no go

apparently other people's version of 2.1.1 doesn't work. i checked the reviews from the appstore just a while ago.

perform a hard reset on the phone and try it again after that. also you can connect the phone to your computer and sync it, after that reboot the device and try again.

Try a DFU if resetting still doesn't work.
