Alright so i downloaded a Mario SMS tone and its on Winterboard so im trying to use it and i restarted my phone 3gs and its still not working . none of the SMS tones are working except for the regular sms tones not from cydia . any help ?

You can't set an SMS tone through winterboard. You must either convert a file to m4r and sync it through iTunes or use a 3rd party app like AnyRing.
