The Windows Phone 7 launch day figures might not have been that impressive, but at least Microsoft knows that its new smartphone can best the iPhone 4 in one area at least – it can withstand a grilling on a $10 portable EZ Grill longer than any other smartphone!

Yes, according to a story on Engadget yesterday, in a grill-off between a T-Mobile Android G2, a WP7 HTC Surround, and an iPhone 4, the WP7-powered HTC Surround managed to stick out the searing heat longer than all the others. The extremely scientific results were broken down into “Fastest” (Android G2) and “Longest” (WP7 HTC Surround). The iPhone 4 just didn’t cut the mustard in terms of grillability, maybe the White iPhone 4 would have done better, what with it having super powers and being a mythical non-existent fictional creature and all.

Kudos to whoever came up with the idea for this video at EZ Grill, as it’s both hilarious and a great way to publicise their product!

i wouldent mind trying a windows 7 phone but am very happy with the iphone 4 atm maybe buy a second phone lol

That was nuts!LOL! But seriously though that's what
would happen if you leave a Phone on the
Dashboard of your car on a hot day for more than a
few minutes. That happened to my cousin's Motorola Droid
when he absent mindedly placed it on the dash on a road
trip to Vegas.
