I dont think so when i tried it just said not charging on the iPad, you might have to use the one that came in the box.

Lemme guess...are you charging your iPhone on a Windows or Ubuntu machine?

Problem w/ the iPad is that compared to the iPhones, it takes a lot more wattage to charge them that most PCs & some older Macs even just can't pump out through the USB port.

Then again, if you're using a) a Mac or b) the wall wart, you shouldn't have much of an issue.

I think it will notcharge well, better use ihpone charger for iphone, and ipad for ipad etc...
