Where do you keep your brightness?

So I've read the iPhone 4 tread about brightness and I wanted to know where do you keep your brightness at?

I currently keep mine just below the "B" in the slider.

Also, what exactly does Auto Brightness do?

i have mine just past the s and auto brightness checks your surrounding light and adjusts the display accordingly e.g. if you are in a bright environment your screen will brighten up if you are in low light environment then it will dim down to save battery.

I have mine past 3/4th of the way...and let auto brightness do its thing when things get dark.

I have mine set at about 40% with auto brightness off to save battery life.

Mine is set to just above the two 'ss' in brightness with auto set to off as this does conserve battery.
