When someone replies to my email to text msg it goes to my iphone as txt msg?

I send an email to my stepdaughter as a text phone#@vtext.com (for Verizon)
When she replies it goes to my iphone phone#.
Is there any way to have the reply come back to my email address since that was the origination point? (and I do not always have the iphone with me)

Does your daughter have an iPhone? If so, you can use the iMessage service. That way you can receive the replies on an iPad or iPhone.

When you send an email from your Verizon wireless phone thru their SMS system, it will always have the respond email address as #@vtext.com. There is no way to circumvent that system design.

The good news is, you can setup the email address you want on your iPhone thru the Mail app. Which will allow you to send and receive emails on the account and still access it from a PC. Have 6 email addresses setup this way and have never had a problem.
