What is the button in the middle of my screen? I have no idea how it appeared or what its for? Please help.

I found it. It's some kind of controller. I tapped the phone three times with three fingers and the controller options appear.

Yes, I am interested to know that as well. I would also like to know what is the button on the side of the phone for that is above the two, round volume control buttons?

That switch is the Ring/Silent switch, used to turn off the ringer and set the phone to vibrate.

Thanks, Scifan! I just tried it. Interestingly, instead of pressing in and out, it snaps up and down. I rather like that for this function.
