What is the most useful app feature for finding things in your local area? I mean anything; deals, events, etc.

Is it maps? Categories? ...

For me, the most useful app I have is GasBuddy! I use it a BUNCH... not only to find the "cheapest gas" (which is an oxymoron), but I can also report gas prices... which is great in helping everyone else. Others are waze, Yelp, Urbanspoon, and local televsion news stations for local news and weather.
