After installing a few jailbreak tweaks, many of which have been out for a while my phone looks and acts much like ios7. I did not want to commit all the way, as I don't want to lose my jailbreak, and I did not want to take a performance hit. Plus I did mot want to completely commit to the Microsoft Zune style graphics.
 
I tried ios 7 for the past week and while i like the new looks and was impressed by the new features this beta is way more like alpha. With a fresh install my phone just locked up or resprang. Also i had an issue where on the dark keyboard none of the letters on the keys would show. I had a black box for a keyboard. I dont see how a beta this buggy could benefit developers. I am looking forward to a more stable beta release.

That's the thing, it really isn't benefitting us ATM. I've spent the past couple of weeks sending in crash reports and such. It's nice to see the new features and get an idea of how we can implement some of them into our apps, but it'll remain an idea until a more stable beta comes out. :/
 
Beta 2 is out. Downloading it and installing while at work. Hope I don't regret that choice in the next half hour.

Will say this much. Rather shocked to see Beta 2 out this soon.

Are you using the OTA option? I'm downloading it to one of my iPhones as well as one of my iPad 3's.
 
Yeppers. OTA while at work. Hence the "hope I don't regret this", LOL. Still installing the update. About 80% done.
 
WOW, Apple is getting serious about security finally. After the update finished, it requires you reactivate and it asks if you want to set a passcode.

BWAHAHAHAHA. Put iOS 7 in delete/move app mode and watch the new Voice memo app shake.

Yeah, I know I shouldn't get that excited about a feature that should have been there since, oh.... 2007.
 
Way to go iOS 7 team. Status bar doesn't return to normal view when exiting apps now. Which means I can't see mine at present.
 
It is messed up in either direction now. If you background has white in that area, you can't see it. Or if it turns to black you won't see it on many backgrounds either.

So technically its more broke.
