Wet phone

Wife's iPhone 4S 32gig got slightly wet near the bottom of the phone from falling into the draining bathtub the other day, good thing is after 24 hrs buried in a bowl of rice the phone still works but the battery seems to run down quite quickly now, is there a chance she killed one of the cells in the battery? If so who is recommended for a battery replacement, I'm not taking that job on my own!!!

how bad is the battery life? a lot of people have had issues on the 4S with out the device being dropped in water so the water could have nothing to do with that.

The iphone battery is a single cell bat. You could try a new bat but make sure you buy an OEM bat and not a cheap $10 bat off ebay.
