Want to upgrade but..

I have 5.1.1 and is thinking of doing the software upgrade to 6.1.3.. But dont want to lose my jailbreak. Can some one tell me if there is a jailbreak for the 6.1.3.. And could you tell me if Absinthe makes the jailbreak. I currently jailbroke my phone with (Absinthe win 2.0.4).. I'm sure this question has been asked, and if so im sorry to ask again. But im not always on to read everything, and dont really have the time to sit and search..

Only pre-A5 devices can be jailbroken on 6.1.3, and it's a tethered jailbreak at that. A5+ devices do not have any jailbreaks at all.

A5 refers to the on-board chipset or the processor of the device. A5+ devices include the 4S,5 and iPad 2+. The iPhone 4 is a pre-A5 device meaning there's a tethered jailbreak. Check my signature a first link for future reference

You can tether jail break a 4 on 6.1.3 but not on an iPhone 4s/5.

Incorrect, there is no jailbreak of any kind for the iPhone 4S on iOS 6.1.3. If you saw anything that said there was such a jailbreak for the iPhone 4S, it's a scam.
