is there an option somewhere in the phone so that when i go to the voice mail section in the phone it shows me a list of people who lift the msg with a pause and play button beside it to hear their msg rather then calling my voice mail each time?

Sorry dude, but I can't understand your past three messages! You need to write and express yourself better. (American schools!) In any case, if you're discussing the iPhone, the Visual Voicemail feature works like a charm and you can delete voicemail messages without listening to them. You must have your cellular function turned on for this.
