Can someone please tell me how to get a voice to text app or tweak thats better the Dragon

None out there any better than the Dragon. It's not great, but not too shabby either.

i loaded dragon, and it converts quite well.

but here's my "dumb" question: my intent was to find a way to simply "speak" and have my words convert to text.

so how do i do that? i know it may sound silly, but where do i start?
