Verizon iPhone Launching February 3?

Following on from the news earlier in the week that Apple had banned employees from going on vacation for a three-week period starting the last week in January, Boy Genius Report exclusively reveals today that they have received confirmation from a very good source with close ties to Apple that this holiday black-out period has been considerably narrowed down to four days, from Thursday February 3 to Sunday February 6, and is in place in several different regions in the US. Boy Genius Report adds that February 3 is the most likely date for release, because Verizon Wireless usually launches its new products on a Thursday. It's also Super Bowl weekend too, so that would make perfect timing from a marketing standpoint. And as BGR points out, although there has been no official confirmation that the mysterious Apple product launching in February is the Verizon iPhone and not the iPad 2, for example, all the Internet whispers seem to indicate that it’s the former we can expect to see come February, rather than the latter.
